Guinea pigs, Food or friend?

For thousands of years, people have aten Guinea pigs in parts of our world.

Hey
I have recently did research about Guinea pigs.
Turns out, Many people enjoy eating guinea pigs.
Meanwhile others have them as pets.

Over 65 Million Guinea pigs are killed each year for food in America's.
(Mostly in South America)

    That guinea pig looks EXACTLY like a guinea pig i use to have names Lily.... weird! But i am about to go on a mission trip to ecuador and they are going to feed us guinea pig... i think ill try it... just to say iive eatten guinea pig! ahah

    I have wanted to eat guinea pig for years. My roommate just bought one for a pet, and I can't help but salivate every time I walk past its cage. Unfortunately, GP's in the States are a different variety than their meatier South American cousins. I would love to go to Peru and eat GP if I ever got the chance! Does anybody know if/where you can get good GP in the States?
